Buzzers & Bells
Are you interested in learning how things work? This course will enable you to design a radio, timer, buzzer, alarm and current detector. Your electronic theory and practical skills will be tested on bread board wiring, measurement and calculation, circuit design and series and parallel circuits. Campers with advanced skills will use configuration and soldering skills involving two circuits to build an AM radio.

ROCKET UNIVERSITY
Rocket and Aerospace Engineering
Preparing for the “Final Frontier of Exploration”
Students will train to be real “rocket scientists” and “aerospace engineers” in this inspired new offering. In “Rocket University” you will learn about the history of rockets from ancient Chinese fireworks, to modern day spacecraft and military applications while discovering principals of launching, trajectories, thrust, navigation, flight paths, altitudes, orbits, recovery methods, safety and more! Students will receive their individual rocket kits and assemble them while applying what they have learned to their design and construction. You will launch your rockets and record data. Rocketeers are awarded certificates for best design and rocket performance.

Each student participating in this wilderness expedition ed-venture will be equipped with a unique and essential set of survival tools/skills and equipment. At every turn aroud campus you will evaluate, interpret and record data from compasses, maps, charts, GPS, satellite images, globes and the land itself. You will engage in group problem solving challenges and learn new self reliance skills which will enable you to have a successful mission. You must dress appropriately for a light walk and wear sneakers or hiking shoes (no open toed shoes or sandals) |

Let's Go Yu-Gi-Oh
Yu-Gi-Oh is the most popular new card game for children. It combines strategy and imagination into fun filled "battles". In one on one showdowns players must use their wits to out duel one another and win the game. In this class, beginners will learn the rules of the game and the basics of creating a deck of cards. As players advance they will learn the strategy of play in attempting to become master of the game. |
