Discover, Imagine & Create Instructor: Janice Elia Discover, Imagine & Create is an original summer program designed to meet the needs of intellectually and creatively gifted youngsters who will be entering Kindergarten this fall. This course will encourage the development of pre-school creative thinking skills through stimulating experiences with language, math and science concepts as well as drawing, painting and imaginative play. Children's literature, creative drama and the world of science and mathematics will come alive though a thematic approach.	9:00-12:00 1:00-4:00	Pre-K

Once Upon a Time

Discover the Art of Storytelling! Be an Author and Illustrator as you use your imagination to create your own stories.

* Enjoy a variety of classics in children's literature.

* Bring to life your favorite literary characters as you portray them.

* Weave tales together through a magical stage trunk.

* Explore a variety of storytelling venues such as Puppetry, Mime and Song.

* This theme culminates with an author's tea when each child will publish his/her own book.
